Hi - my 2nd posting for the day but still no card...I am posting a picture of a bank that I "made" for my 5 year old for Christmas. It's a KraftBlok embellished with UpperCase Living-name, dollar sign and the motorcycle-which is actually on the reverse side of the block. Jordan's only 5 but says he can't wait until he can have a motorcycle....let's hope he outgrows it lol! I know he will love this.
I also have some blog candy to announce- Whiff of Joy is doing a gift a day -The Whiff of Joy Advent Calendar! Just go to Katharina's blog to find the details-Whiff of Joy is one of my favorite lines of stamps and she is very generously giving one a day away!

Each day a new window will open with a surprise gift for one lucky visitor, the new window will be posted at 00.01 GMT everyday and the winner of the previous days gift will be posted at the same time.Don’t forget to check everyday after 00.01 GMT
Well that's it for today...time to do the homework, bath thing!

Hello Everyone. I have no cards to post today ): Too many time constraints but hope to have something tomorrow.

If you hadn't noticed from my blog, I am a demonstrator for Uppercase Living. I just love their stuff!! If you aren't familiar with it have a look at my website and I think you will fall in love with it too!
Anyhow- the company made a huge announcement today that I wanted to share with you all. This is something they have never done. If you love the product too, would like an opportunity to increase your income and enjoy the company of others that share your interests than maybe you should consider becoming a demonstrator. Uppercase has reduced the cost of their starter kits and the offer is now through Dec. 31, 2008. The cost reduction is huge!!!

Essentials Plus Kit for $149.00. Regular price is $249.00 – that’s a savings of $100!

Essentials Kit for $99.00. Regular Price is $149.00 – that’s a savings of $50!

I will be honest, I have always disliked the home party "thing" until now. I never dreamed I would sign up for something like this but I have really enjoyed it. I have met so many great people doing this and even found a new stamping group that I joined as a result of demonstrating at a party.
If you would like further details please check out my website or feel free to respond directly to me.
Have a great day!

Hey Everyone...I am finally getting around to posting the 2 cards I've made for a couple of challenges. I tried to do this last night but just couldn't get anything to work. Guess I was a little tired after my 1st day back to work after the long weekend. The job is really starting to interfer with my crafting! lol. Hope everyone (in the US) had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was just the 4 of us this year but it was actually very relaxing.

My 1st card is my 2nd entry for the Whiff of Joy Guest Designer challenge. This is the last week to get your entries in-all entries must be in by Dec.6 so you better hurry. Just make a card using the sketch, which you can view on my previous posting. If you would like to participate in this challenge you can post your completed card on Paper Craft Planet. My card is a Christmas card but as you can see not your traditional colors- I was going for a gold and woodsy look. My little caroler was colored using my Stampin Up watercolor pencils and blender pens. The pretty little gold tree and snowflakes are stickers by Martha Stewart.

My 2nd card is pulling double duty for 2 challenges. The first challenge is for Cute Card Thursday which asked that we make a card using lilac. I thought this would be a difficult challenge because it's not a color I normally use but I actually found some pretty good stuff when I went through my stash! I am also using this card for SketchSaturday challenge. I've attached the sketch and my card below.
I love all the Magno-licious stamps...this is whirling snowflakes and it was colored using my copics. (I really need to increase my supply of these but am waiting for Santa)The flowers and the happy birthday tile are Un-buttons by littleblackdressdesigns. The happy birthday stamp is from Stampin Up. That's it for today.

Hi Everyone. Whoohoo a long weekend ahead!! I hope to get lots of cards done this weekend, as well as dinner for Thanksgiving prepared, house cleaned, Christmas decorations up...etc etc. LOL. So much to do this weekend.

I am a frequent visitor to the Whiff of Joy website and blog and would like to announce their current challenge. They are currently looking for their new Guest Designer so I thought I would give it a try. Just create a card using the sketch I've attached below and anyone of their amazing stamps. I love them all- so whimsical- but opted for Willow with hot chocolate-one of my faves!

I love the all the blue in this little card and the sentiment was a great match for both the sentiment of the paper and the stamp. The sentiment stamp is from C.C. Designs Reindeer Games that I purchased from All That Scraps. Supplies used- cardstock, blue paisley dp is by Daisy D's, winter blue words is by the Paper Studio, book plate was made using my cricut-Fabulous Finds cartridge, and the little snowflake brad is from Making Memories. I loved this sketch! Willow was colored with my new copic markers....a great addition to my stamp supplies and I can't wait to add to my collection. Santa are you listening hahaha.

If you would like to participate in this challenge you can post your completed card on Paper Craft Planet. Good Luck to Everyone!! There is really some great talent out there. I'm off to bake.

Happy Monday! I can't believe how fast this month is flying by. I've been working on small crafts and some demonstrations for a craft show that is fastly approaching...Nov. 19. Hoping this will help promote my Uppercase Living business. Not much time left to get it all done. This is an item that I made Saturday using the glass blocks and block expression. I love these blocks-easy to assemble and versatile- not just for Christmas. I'm also making one for Jordan for Christmas to use as a bank- with his name on it-kids love anything with their name on it!

I used the 35 strand of mini-lights and some tulle to give it a snowy effect-and to hide the cord and the pretty Christmas ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.
I also made this little Christmas hanging yesterday using my coasters- I only have about 760 of those coasters left! I used my new Magno-licious stamps and colored them with my copic markers- an art form that I am still diligently working on but I think they still turned out very cute! My little skating snowman is from Stampin Up and the Happy Holidays ribbon is from American Craft. The letters for noel came from UppercaseLiving, of course.

Well that's it for today. Hopefully I will be able to add more before the week is up.
