Happy Monday ...it's time for another edition of Sunshine Monday's:)
This week the design team for Sunshine & Giggles is participating in the sketch challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. Each Wednesday Roxie provides an awesome sketch and this week was no exception.

I deviated from the sketch just a bit-my panels are a bit larger to accomodate my pretty dp.

The stamp I used this week is called Gathering Flowers and can be found here. I have no idea who the paper is by-have had it in my stash forever. My image is colored with copics and my flower is from K&Co. The corduroy brad in the flower was actually beige and I colored it with my copic to match the dp. I also used a little button brad on her dress.

Be sure to check the other design teams sites for more sunshine-

Hope you all have a wonderful week. This will be my only post for the week. We are off on a much needed vacation!

Hi Everyone....well I finally finished my card for The Next Level Challenge- however, I am late! It seems I only have been able to get into my scraproom on Sundays lately. I am going to post my card anyway because it was so fun to make. The challenge this week was to make a stair-step card- this took me forever!

This card has a couple of firsts for me...it's my 1st stair-step card, the first time I have ever done paper piecing and the first time I've used my Magnolia General Store stamp! I love this stamp but it took forever to color!

I am quite pleased with the outcome being a first time and all, lol. Edwin's little plaid shirt is paper pieced- a first for me! Well that is it for me now. I am off to try some more last minute challenges!

Good Morning All!! Welcome to another edition of Sunshine Mondays!

It is time for the design team to participate in another round of challenges with our Sunshine & Giggles stamps. (Join in the hop along with us-dt members links are listed on bottom of this post.) This week we chose Cute Card Thursday as our challenge and they've stipulated that you use a tag anywhere on your card. Easy enough!
Well you know me, I have to participate in as many challenges as possible with the same card- time constraints ya know. So I have also participated in this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge. They provided this awesome sketch. I have also entered this sketch for the challenge on Simon Says Stamp, which was to create a birthday card- it is their 1st birthday and they have a fun challenge going for an awesome prize. Be sure to check it out.

I must say I am really pleased with the outcome! Two cards done today and both of them just fell into place quite nicely. The mojo is flowing today, lol.

I made this card for a co-worker celebrating a birthday on July 1st- close enough to the 4th to celebrate both. I duplicated the sketch for the inside as well.

Supplies used: Stamp is Pool Party from Sunshine & Giggles, sentiments stamps are from Stampin Up, cardstock is Bazzil, all dp is from the Paper Studio, ribbon, and star eyelets.
Hop along with us- DT members are: Tenia, Melissa, Nicole, Jennifer, and Sheri.

Hello Everyone...hope your weekend is going well. Okay, I finally made it in to my scraproom today after a lengthy absence. Once again I am getting in just under the wire on the challenge for The Next Level. I loved their sketch this week- it works perfectly with my paper and theme.

This little card is for my nephew's birthday...I think he is going to like it!!

I love the dimpled orange cardstock and purchased it for a basketball scrapbook layout- that I have yet to get to. My little ball player stamp is from Sunshine & Giggles. My basketballs and all star label are stickers from K&Co. The basketball brad on the tag is from the Paper studio and my dp is from Chatterbox. I have had it forever!

I must say I am very pleased with the outcome. I had all the right embillishments in hand to pull off the look I was looking for. Don't you love when that happens!

Well think I might go try 1 more challenge!

Happy Monday to you all.....Today the Design Team for Sunshine & Giggles is participating in a challenge together as a way to introduce this new stamp line to you all. Sunshine & Giggles specializes in all things children. Currently there are 6 stamps available in the initial line.

The challenge we've selected is the Color Throwdown challenge which this week asked that you use the following colors:
I, of course, had to turn 1 card into more than one challenge so I have also taken part in a sketch challenge. The sketch I selected is from Sweet Sunday Sketch. Karen provided a great sketch, as well as a little sneak peak into the new Stampin Up catalog.

I colored my cute little swimmer with my Stampin up markers. All card stock and floral dp is from Stampin up. The other dp has been in my stash forever and I have no idea who it's by but that it had a shimmery water effect -perfect pool look.

Well I hope you have enjoy my little card and will stop and visit our dt member sites to see what
great cards they have to offer. The design team is as follows:

Tenia
Jennifer
Nicole
Sheri

Hi Everyone...hope you are having a good weekend. I can't believe how fast it has gone by:( I had to work yesterday so that made it go by all the faster. Last Saturday for me until the end of the next quarter...yeah.
My card today was going to cover 3 challenges but I'm afraid I missed the deadline for one-The Next Level. If you haven't visited their site you need to!! It's much more than just a challenge..it's a little news letter complete with a weekly tutorial. The tutorial for this week was to frame your image in ribbon. This was my first time trying this look and it was fun, easy and quick. What an amazing look it gives your card.

I did use a sketch challenge for this card- it comes from this weeks sketch at Sketch Saturday.

This was a great sketch to work with and also worked well for the next challenge I am covering. Rather than a sentiment I have used a quote, which is what the challenge was this week for Cute Card Thursday.

I thought this was a great quote to go along with my image. Isn't she pretty. I love the detail in her flowers.

My image is from Sunshine & Giggles. I colored her using copics. All cardstock is from Stampin Up, as is the quote stamp. The dp is called Blue Damask/ Blue Awning from K & Co. and the flower is prima with a build-a-brad in the center from Stampin Up. I used my shapabilities for the bottom corners. There you have it -3 challenges in one!

See you next time,

Happy Friday or almost Saturday.....and I'm just now posting my card for the Sketch Saturday challenge. Hopefully I'm in just under the wire, Lol. The sketch they provided this week is one I think I'll being using again.

My image is a Sarah Kay stamp, the sentiment is from whiff of joy, the dp is Heidi Grace, the flowers are premia with various brads and my corners were done with my nestibilities. Well that is it for today...a very quick post.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hello everyone...There are alot of great sketches I've wanted to try this week. How does one manage to play all the great challenges out there? I have managed to cover 2 with today's card. The 1st is a sketch challenge and the 2nd challenge requirement was to use butterflies on your card. Well I managed to fit 1 butterfly into my theme!
The sketch challenge is from this weeks Sketch and Stash challenge and it was a great sketch! This is the first time I've played along with them and will definitely have to add them to my list. The 2nd challenge I'm covering with my butterfly is for A Spoon Full of Sugar.

My little image today is from the new line of stamps from Sunshine & Giggles. This little guy actually reminds me of my 6 year old! He wants to do this every summer!! I think every child could include this little business venture on their resumes, lol.

Yep...it's a lemonade stand! Isn't he cute!!

Supplies: All cardstock is from Stampin Up, DP is from Wild Asparagus, Cuttlebug bloom, dots folders, the yellow flowers are real pressed flowers!! They are extremely delicate- I don't know if they would survive being put in an envelope let alone being mailed but I thought they were so bright and sunny looking! My little butterfly is chipboard and is from K&Co. My image was colored using copics and I distressed my embossing with Tim Holtz Vintage photo. After I the card was all assembled I was looking at it and was a bit disappointed with my little dotted side tabs- I thought they looked like band-aids, lol. Oh well, who uses more band-aids then little boys!

Well there you have it....2 challenges covered! Hopefully I will be back with 2 more tomorrow. I am working on a card now but tomorrow am working overtime...ugh.

Have a great evening.

This is a real quick post...it's almost bedtime but I wanted to try todays Friday Sketchers challenge. This was a fun sketch. The only thing I deviated from was the sentiment.

While going through my stash of ribbon and coming up with nothing that would go I found this elastic ribbon and immediately thought of fish line.

It was perfect for "hooking" my little fish. I used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the fish brad. It goes perfectly with my ocean paper and beach image. My little guy is all ready for a day at the beach! Isn't he cute. He is another of the new images from Sunshine and Giggles. I used my copics to color him...had a little problem with bleeding but not too bad. I am out of quality cardstock and it really does make a difference when you are using copics. The dp is by cosmo cricket and I got it just for this stamp. All cardstock is by Stampin Up.

Well off to bed...I don't know what I was thinking but volunteered to work tomorrow. It's almost quarter end so the office is frantic to get the work done...ugh. Apparently I was thinking dollar signs and now I wish I had been thinking more about sleep!

Back tomorrow with more....

Well the day has finally arrived and I am thrilled to announce that Sunshine & Giggles is now officially opened for business!! If you haven't seen my previous posts Sunshine & Giggles is the newest stamp line to hit the web and is dedicated to children, specifically African-American children. Please stop by and visit. I think you will be pleased.
My card today is for Mojo Monday and I am using one of my brand new Sunshine stamps. As always, Mojo provided a great sketch! I made this card for my husband for father's day.

Can you tell by the colors what team he roots for, lol. He is a huge steelers fan and will love this little guy! Our son is 6 and isn't playing yet, but I know it won't be long.

Supplies: I used Stampin Up cardstock, except for the star embossed card stock, don't know who it is by but I picked it up at Michael's. The dp is from Me & My Big Ideas. The ribbon was also from Michaels and the brad and little ribbon are from Memory Makers.
Don't forget to visit Sunshine & Giggles and leave me some feedback- I would love to hear what you think.
