Well the start of another week. Hope everyone had a good weekend. The weather here is lousy. We had reports of a possible tornado touch down in our city Saturday night. There was some structural damage to some businesses and a few minor injuries. Tis the season, I'm afraid! I am ready for some warm weather.

I may not be posting much in the next 3 weeks, if at all. I am studying for an exam at work. I should have started months ago. I've had the text since January and am just now starting. I'm in panic mode.

I do have 1 card for ya today and it is covering 2 challenges. The first challenge is for Friday Sketchers which provided the layout- this was a great sketch!

The 2nd challenge is over on Splitcoast Stampers and is from the Limited Supply Challenge which was to use only black & white on your cards. That is my favorite combo so this was a pretty easy challenge. I decided to go with a sympathy card.

All sentiments are computer generated and I only used 1 stamp image- the small butterfly, which is from http://www.susanascustomartandcarddesign.com/. I did the stamp off technique so the butterfly would just be faintly seen. The memory sentiment is lifted from my Uppercase Living catalog, which can be found on my side bar. I just love this sentiment. All cardstock is from Stampin Up and I have no idea who the dp is by- I just had a few scrap pieces left and don't remember where it is from. The embossing is of course Cuttlebug and I just picked up this folder on Friday...I love this one!

Well that is it for me today. See you soon.

YIPPEE!!! It's finally friday। This has been a very long week and I have so much I want to accomplish this weekend। They go by so fast! Todays card is for the Whiff of Joy challenge with a great prize- guest designer for 2 weeks! I used a stamp from the spring collection- they are all so cute! This was a great sketch done by Donalda।

I really enjoyed this sketch and it came together well। I am still working with those copics butthink the outcome is pretty good. I really love the blues in this dp. The dp is by K & Co. and from the collection called Blue Awning. I love it! I made the little flower with my cricut and then ran it through my crimper to give it a little texture. The brad is from Stampin Up's build a brad- a totally awesome concept!!

Well I am off to work. Hope everyone has a good Friday.

Happy Hump Day!! Only 2 days to go until the weekend. No big plans here but still can't wait..hehe. Maybe I will clean my scraproom. I don't know what your areas look like but mine is a total disaster. I think I must be one of the messiest scrappers. When I find my table too cluttered I just move to the floor- that's were I do most of my cutting. I need shelving and then perhaps I could move back to the table. LOL.

Todays card is for the Sketch Saturday challenge. This was a really fun skecth. I think this one will be a keeper.

I used my pretty little Melinda stamp from the spring line from Whiff of Joy. I am still learning my shading with the copics (key here is to have more than 1 or 2 in each color scheme- I'm working on it) I am pleased with how this turned out. I used lots of shimmerz on her shirt and a white gel pen on her jeans- giving them a bit of a washed out look, I think.

All cardstock is by Stampin Up, DP is K & Co., flowers and leaves are prima.

See ya tomorrow!

Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope your day is going well. It is a beautiful spring day today- wish I could get out of this office and enjoy it.
Just a quick post today. This card was done for the MojoMonday challenge. This was a great sketch and think I will attemp another one with it.

I must say that I am not really happy with the outcome of this particular card. I loved this paper when I spotted it but used together it just seems a little too busy. I do, however, love this little stamp. It is from the Whiff of Joy spring kit.

Well it's been awhile but I am back! This is the 1st card I've made in 3 weeks! I thought I had completely lost my mojo, lol. This last month has been kinda crazy-work has been a nightmare!

I need to give kudos to Beth from Freckled & Fun for my new blog header and signature. She did a fantastic job. I've added a link to her blog on my sidebar. Don't you just love the little grasshopper. Why grasshoppers you might ask? Well my last name is Hopper and it doesn't matter how I say it or spell it I am always addressed as Hooper! I've found my self saying Hopper...like in grasshopper! LOL.
Anyway, I digress. Today's card is for the Friday Sketchers challenge. This weeks sketch was designed by Bea and I love it! I will definitely be using this one again.

My card is in my signature colors...yes after looking back at what I've done over the last several months it seems I am addicted to black & white. I think this card turned out "absolutely fabulous!"

I just love this stamp. I picked up last week in Michaels. It's from the Montage collection by Stampendous. I have no idea who the dp is by- cut the edge off and can't remember who it's by but I love. It was 2 sided dp and I have used both sides in this card. The brads and rub ons are making memories and my little "flower" yoyos were made by my mother. I love yoyos and she made me several in different sizes...in my favorite color again...black & white.

Well that is it for now.
