Thought for the day -

Good Morning!  It seems like such a long time since I've been able to sit down and craft.  I was off all last week and got alot of cleaning done.  I painted my craft room and what a chore that was.  Wait until you see the colors- love them! It didn't take long to move everything out but I still don't have it all back together.
I don't know what your organizational skills are like but my room was a mess!! It took me forever to find anything.  So after some research I decided to go with the jetmax cubes they have at Michaels.  I love them!! I still want to pick up 6 more but it will have to wait until next week and then I should be super organized!

Ok on to today's card.  While cleaning I found a poem I had cut out of the newspaper quite a few years ago.  At the time I thought I would use it on a scrapbook layout (never did) but thought it was very fitting for my card.  Today's card is for a baby shower for a former co-worker.  I am using the sketch from this week's Midnight Madness.

Pretty simple design for a midnight madness sketch and I am really pleased with the outcome.

I decided to keep it monochromatic and love the outcome.  My sweet little image is from KLM Digistamps and was done in blue ink along with the poem.  I love this image because it looks great colored or not.  Kim is having a boy, hence all the blue.  I'm not a big fan of the traditional pastels but think this is perfect for a boy baby.
Supplies Used:
Navy cardstock from Stampin Up, blue speckled cardstock form Club Scrap,
DP-Little Yellow Bicycle
Ribbon and bow easy
Charm- Making Memories

Challenges:
Stampin for the Weekend:  Ribbons & Bows
Cute Card Thursday: Mono- shades of just one color

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully my posting will now be back on track.
